Maybe life isn’t about avoiding all the pitfalls but walking into the pitfalls & becoming better stronger & wiser from them. Maybe these “pitfalls” aren’t really pitfalls in the end if we loved the tears & sweat. Just promise me you’d go into it with your eyes open & your heart brave, okay? My brother said he could see you were still in love with her. As much as I’m not expecting you to fall at my feet, this observation from a stranger hurts.
